Strategic Options
On Monday 7 September the University Council endorsed a Strategic Options paper I presented which builds on the gains we have made in the recent past and proposes long term growth for La Trobe.
It’s a plan that reaffirms our historic mission to provide wider access to higher education regardless of social background and addresses the pressing need for more university places in an expanding system.
Government, and the community at large, is looking at universities like La Trobe to take a lead in expanding the sector.
There are a number of proposals in the document, and I encourage you to read it in full and provide your feedback to your Deans and Heads of School.
