Brief profile

Steven Stolz is a Lecturer at La Trobe University (Victoria, Australia).

He has an MA from the School of Philosophy-ACU where he is also a PhD candidate.

Just recently he was awarded the highly prestigious 2011 Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia (PESA) Doctoral Scholarship.

His present research interests include: continental philosophy, philosophy of education, curriculum and pedagogy and applied ethics.

In addition to Lecturing at La Trobe University he is currently working with Professor Janis (John) Ozolins (Guest Co-Editors) in producing a special edition of the academic journal, Educational Philosophy and Theory (EPAT) that is due to be published in 2012-2013.

Furthermore, he is currently serving as an Editorial Board Member (Victorian Representative) for the Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER) periodical: Active and Healthy Magazine.
