Brief Profile

I began my career as a nurse working in residential aged care. It was in this context that my interest in sexual health and ageing grew. I developed strategies to resource staff to respond affirmatively to sexual expression and noticed how this improved the quality of person centred care we provided. Since moving into the university sector I have continued to working in the area of sexual health. I currently coordinate a number of research and education projects around sexual health and ageing and have a particular interest in the development of resources and the provision of education that takes a systemic approach to improvement.
