Podiatry
Byron is currently the senior podiatry academic of the podiatry program delivered from the La Trobe Rural Health School. He has extensive clinical experience in the field of diabetes-related foot disorders and is an honorary podiatrist at Bendigo Health in the capacity of education, research and expert consultancy. His main areas of research include the psychological functioning and behaviour of people with peripheral neuropathy, and the development of innovative podiatric models of care for people with diabetes.
