Brief profile

Tom Bamforth has worked for the International Organization and Migration and the Norwegian Council for Refugees and currently works in the area of disaster management in the Pacific. He has worked as a protection officer and program manager on the ground during humanitarian emergencies in Sudan and Pakistan. He has expertise in conflict, natural disasters, and development in Pakistan, Sudan and the Pacific. He studied at Melbourne and London universities and has published in the Journal of Humanitarian Assistance and Granta, among others.
