I've never had a nickname as I've always been called Trey.

Place of birth: Kew, Melbourne.

Please list your sporting career highlights:

I have been lucky enough to travel to England to play soccer with Sheffield United academy in 2006.

In 2011 I made the Victorian team known as the National Training Centre of Victoria. Also in 2011 I went to China with my National training Centre of Victoria and played in the Beijing Cup.

In 2012 I played at the AIS championship with the National training Centre. I also trained with Melbourne Victory's youth team in 2012.

In 2014 I played in my school soccer team for Eltham College and won the year 12 Eastern Independent schools Melbourne Grand Final. In 2014/2015 I was a part of the Melbourne City Youth team winning the A-League Youth championship. I am currently still playing for Melbourne City Football Club.

At what age did you start seriously training and competing in your sport(s)?

I have always been training and competing since I started playing soccer at age nine.

What (and/or who) got you started in the sport?

My brother Clint made me watch a soccer match on television when I was young. David Beckham kicked the football that glided past the defenders and into the back of the net. After I witnessed Beckham take a free kick that is when I knew I wanted to play soccer.

Are other family members involved in sport?

I come from a very sporting family. My grandpa played football for Preston Football club. My father played AFL for Collingwood and also all of my four older brothers played AFL football when they were growing up.

Who has been the biggest influence in your sporting career?

The biggest influence in my life would be David Beckham he is why I started playing soccer.

Another major influence in my life is my brother Chad who has always supported me throughout my career. Chad always made me push myself and took me to the park to kick the soccer ball.

My other brother Clint has also been a big influence as he made me watch David Beckham on television.

Who has been the biggest influence in your academic life?

My biggest influence in my academic life would have to be my mum, Janine. She has always helped me with my education.

Do you support any other sport and/or teams?

I like to watch AFL and I support Collingwood.

How do you relax? Do you have other life interests outside of your sport?  

When I have spare time away from soccer I like to skateboard, surf and hang out with my brothers.

What is one thing that might surprise readers to learn about you?

I have four older brothers: Trent (age 41), Clint (age 37), Ty (age 33) and Chad (age 30) and then me (age 18).

What is your favourite food?  Movie? Music/performer?

  • Favourite food – Taco's
  • Favourite movie – The Bourne film series
  • Favourite band – Powderfinger and I also love to listen to many other bands.

What was the best advice you were ever given?

My brother Chad once said to me "The pain of discipline is nothing like the pain of disappointment"

I use my brother Chad's advice in many aspects of my life.
