At what age did you start seriously training and competing in your sport?

At age 15.

What (and/or who) got you started in the sport?

My family, as they were already playing the sport.

Are other family members involved in sport?

Yes, my sister plays football, netball and cricket.

Who has been the biggest influence in your sporting career?

My father, because no matter how I go, he always has supported me and keeps on encouraging me to strive for success.

Who has been the biggest influence in your academic life?

My teachers, because they were always very supportive in helping me achieve my best.

Do you support any other sport and/or teams?

Yes, I play football, netball and snow ski.

How do you relax? Do you have other life interests outside of your sport?

I spend time with my family and friends and I enjoy going to the beach and the snow.

What is your favourite food?

Pasta, Role Models, the Kooks, Sticky Fingers, The Preatures, Asgier.

What was the best advice you were ever given?

'As ship in the harbour is all well and good, but that is not what ships are built for.'

Do you have any saying or motto that you live your life by?

Putting yourself out of your comfort zone will only improve you as a person.
