At what age did you start seriously training and competing in your sports?

I first became a member of the Junior Australian Squad in 2011 when I was 14. I was then selected to be part of the Senior Australian Squad in 2013 when I was 16 and I have remained on this squad ever since.

What (and/or who) got you started in the sport?

I have always loved dancing and I was a good swimmer so I thought I would give synchro a try, as it is a mix of both. I have loved it ever since.

Who has been the biggest influence in your sporting career?

It is hard to pinpoint just one person as so many people have made a massive difference to what I am able to achieve today. My parents have always supported me, my coach is fantastic and my friends are amazing.

Who was the biggest influence in your academic life?

My teachers in high school. They were so understanding with all my sporting commitments and helped me to successfully make it through despite being away so much.

Do you support any other sport and/or teams?

I love AFL as well and I am a huge Essendon supporter. I also love watching the swimming and gymnastics at big world events.

How do you relax? Do you have other life interests outside of your sport?

My time is mostly taken up with training but if I ever get so time off I enjoy catching up with my friends or going to the movies.

What is your favourite food?

My mum's cookies - they are amazing!

What was the best advice you were ever given?

The best advice I was ever given was from my parents who said that I can achieve anything if I really put my mind to it and that I should never let anything or anyone get in my way.

Do you have a saying or motto that you live your life by?

"Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion!" – Muhammad Ali
