At what age did you start seriously training and competing in your sport?

I began at age 14, however I did not begin to decide to compete Internationally until 2011.

Are other family members involved in sport?

Twin Sister (Charlie) – National Swimmer
Brother (Sam) – Club cricket and AFL.

Who has been the biggest influence in your sporting career? Please explain.

My parents and family – they always support me and encourage me to chase your dreams. Without their support, I wouldn't have been able to achieve what I have. My coaches – they are always there for me 100 per cent of the time and see me at my worst and best. The relationship with your coach is one of a kind and very special.

Who has been the biggest influence in your academic life?

My parents - they always encourage me to do the best I can in what I choose to do and support the decisions I make.

Do you support any other sport and/or teams?

Sydney Swans.

How do you relax? Do you have other life interests outside of your sport?

Watch movies with friends. Water skiing at my holiday house on the South Coast of NSW is something I love to do also. I love coaching Gymnastics and Aerobic Gymnastics.

What was the best advice you were ever given?

There have been so many different pieces of advice that have helped me in my sport. But one that has always stuck with me is the following quote: "Do not let fear and judgement become part of your personality, let it be an emotion."
