Taekwondo

Looking for a healthy and fun, but challenging sport that gives you more than just exercise?

Why not try the Korean martial art and Olympic sport of Taekwondo!

The La Trobe University Taekwondo Club was established in the seventies by students at the university (under the guidance of Grand Master Yong Dai Cho, 9th Dan black belt).  Members of the club are affiliated with Sports Taekwondo Australia (STA), the peak body for Taekwondo in Australia.  STA is also a member of the World Taekwondo Federation.

As a member of the Taekwondo team, you'll benefit from:

  • expert and experienced instruction
  • learn how to defend yourself
  • gain physical strength and agility
  • balance and co-ordination.

Best of all ... you're guaranteed to get a KICK out of it!
