Fencing
Fencing at La Trobe is a great way to meet new people. We not only maintain a strong emphasis upon competition, but also on social orientation within the club.
LTUFC provides all equipment needed to fence. This includes all electric gear for training, and personal use in competitions. A variety of foils, epees, sabres, jackets, lames & masks are available.
LTUFC is a member of Fencing Victoria, and club members at all levels regularly compete in State and National graded competitions, including the Victorian Novice Championships - a competition restricted to new fencers (those with less than 2 years experience). We also send a team to the Australian University Games each year, an event that always proves successful both socially and competitively.
Training
Tuesdays: 7–10pm in the Studio
Thursdays: 7–10pm in the Studio
Fridays: 7–10pm in the Fieldhouse
