The aim of this project is to provide lesson plans specifically for Year 10 and Year 9 Extension in accordance with the Victorian Curriculum Standards Framework II Level 6 Physical Sciences. The Lesson Plans provided can be used as single units or grouped together to form Units of Work.

An enormous amount of relevant material is available to teachers and students via the world-wide-web. In fact a major problem for teachers is the amount of time it takes just to review the amount of material available.

Rather than add to the vast amount of detailed material already existing, our aim is to provide basic lesson plans that reference relevant web-based material that is already readily available. We believe this will be a valuable approach and invite teachers to use the Lesson Plans, provide feedback on their relevance and on possible improvements, and to submit their own Lesson Plans for possible addition to the site.
