Xu Yuzeng - Professional Involvements
- (2002-2004) Chairman of the Australian Tertiary Chinese Teachers Association
- (1990 - present) Chairperson of the Mandarin Panel, NAATI (NAATI - National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters, Australia). My duty is to lead the panel setting, exam and review NAATI tests and provide consultations to NAATI and the government bodies in relation to Chinese language and language translation issues
- (1999) He was also invited and had completed a research project in relation to establish an accreditation system of translators and interpreters for Taiwan with Fu Jin Catholic University
- He has given many public lectures to the Chinese and Australian communities and he was invited many times to give talks about Chinese issues on ABC, SBS radios. He has been as Honorary Visiting Professor of two universities in China.
