Qualifications: BA (Hons) English, Delhi University; PG Diploma (Print Journalism) Asian College of Journalism, Chennai; PhD in Urban Sustainability and Religious Studies, Murdoch University, Western Australia

My main research interests lie in the area of urban sustainability, particularly developing megapolises, women and development, religion and development, and creative adaptation to climate change (in urban developing regions).

I am currently engaged in studying the religious notion of self-realisation and exploring its contemporary application in the context of sustainability.
