Teaching
- I taught 1st year introductory anthropology for 15 years (1990-2004).
- I teach a 2nd/3rd year subject called ‘Aboriginal Australia’, which examines the relationship between the past and the present in relation to Indigenous Australian identity.
- Finally, I teach the 2nd/3rd year 'core' subject 'Current Issues in Anthropology'.
- I have also taught in the areas of religion and symbolism, but not since 1996.
- I have also taught in a subject about the relationship between Indigenous Australians and the State, covering such areas as land rights, native title and public Aboriginality.
