Where are the Macintosh Computer Labs on Campus?

Please be advised that the above times are for the academic year only. Outside of the academic year all buildings close at 6.00pm Mon-Fri, except for Education which closes at 7.00pm.
Students requiring access to other systems should refer to their lecturers or our team at Desktop Systems Support Group for more information.
What username and password do I use?
To help you get going as soon as possible, we have already created an account for you. The account name is printed on your Statement of Enrolment. This is the same account you would use for StudentOnLine, e-mail and connecting to Windows computers. Your password for this account is also printed on that statement.

Rules & Regulations
There is to be:
- No games
- No IRC
- No Chat
- No Food
- No Drinks
- No external storage devices, excluding standard 1.44MB floppies and Flash Drives.
This includes any form of real time chat service IRC, web or otherwise.
The Supervisor on duty has final say in what is appropriate use.

First offenders will be issued a warning.
Second time offenders will be banned for one week.
A third and final offence will have your account disabled indefinitely.
Please respect your fellow students and keep noise levels to a minimum.
Downloading of Files
Students who are found to be using the University's systems to engage in conduct which infringes copyright – including uploading and downloading files without the permission of the owner of copyright - are exposing themselves and the University to legal action, and will be subject to disciplinary action.
The web is NOT a copyright-free zone. DO NOT assume that you are entitled to download everything you can access on the web. Some material may be on the web without the copyright owner's permission.
DO NOT use University equipment or the computer networks to download, redistribute or copy unauthorized files.
As you may be aware, there are some websites which offer – with the copyright owner's permission - MP3 files or other music formats for free download. The University's computers and network should NOT be used for this purpose. If you want to download or transfer music for any non-academic purpose, this should be done privately, and not on a University-owned computer or through the University's computer network.
