Centre for Professional Development

The Centre for Professional Development was established in 2002 to provide in-service training mainly in critical reflection for practising professionals as well as related teaching and research. The courses offered emphasise using critical reflection and are of interest to professionals across many disciplines including health, human services, law, business management and education. Interest in critical reflection has increased significantly and the Centre now offers a model of critical reflection based on Centre research as well as the wealth of new literature and research on the process.

The Centre runs a variety of courses both initiated by the Centre and in response to requests from organizations. These include: Critical Reflection, Using Critical Reflection in Supervision, Spirituality and Work, Critical Reflection and Community Capacity building.
