Scholarship Information
Dr Wanda Henry Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding student, chosen for exceptional personal and academic qualities, as well as potential to make a significant contribution to their area of study and to university life in general. Applicants must be eligible to enrol in the first year of the Bachelor of Electronic Engineering/Master of Biomedical Engineering double degree, or another five-year engineering course in the Department of Electronic Engineering.
Scholarships for Academic Excellence
Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students commencing any undergraduate degree within the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
Scholarships for Outstanding Female Students
Scholarships are awarded to outstanding female students commencing any undergraduate degree within the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
Scholarships for Rural and Regional Students
Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students from rural and regional Australia commencing any undergraduate degree within the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
Scholarships for International Students studying in Australia
These scholarships are awarded to outstanding overseas students currently completing Year 12 or any equivalent school leaving certificate in any school in Australia, and commencing any undergraduate degree within the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
Hooper Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding student commencing any four or five year engineering course in the Department of Electronic Engineering.
Sony Foundation First Year Games Technology Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student who has the potential to make a significant contribution to the area of games technology. Applicants must be eligible to enrol in the first year of the Bachelor of Computer Science in Games Technology course in the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
Microsoft Australia first Year Games Technology Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student who has the potential to make a significant contribution to the area of games technology. Applicants must be eligible to enrol in the first year of the Bachelor of Computer Science in Games Technology course in the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
IBL Scholarships
Established in conjunction with Bendigo Bank, IBM and Powercor Australia, these scholarships involves two 20-week placements at one of the sponsoring organisations' premises. The scholarship is available to Bendigo students in the second year of the Bachelor of Computing, or third year of the Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Computing or Bachelor of Applied Science/Bachelor of Computing double-degree program. Australian Computer Society
Australian Computer Society offer number of scholarships to current students studying undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science, computer systems engineering and information technology areas. For more information please visit: Australian Computer Society Website
Deparmental Scholarships
Computer Science and Computer Engineering: $2,000
Electronic Engineering: $1,000
First-year scholarships in Mathematics and Statistics: This scholarship is awarded to a first-year student with high overall performance in VCE (or equivalent) studies, who has a demonstrated interest in mathematics or statistics and an intention to pursue major studies in those areas.
