Booking Fee
The AV equipment used in the SEMS Meeting Room is non-standard, so user support is limited, and not provided by the central AV Service. As a result of this and the space cost driver in the 2010 budget, it has become necessary for the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences to charge a booking fee for the SEMS Meeting Room to users who are not part of the School or the Faculty Administration.
The cost recovery fee is as follows:
$80 per hour (without technical support)
$120 per hour (with technical support)
Please provide your cost centre, profit centre and fund number and we will journal this amount for your booking.
Important:
In order to meet the video and technical conferencing needs of the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences and the various committees of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering, requests for bookings made by other sectors of the University can only be made four weeks in advance of the required booking date. Confirmation will depend on availability. This policy takes effect from 1st January, 2009.
