A Message from the Head Of SchoolThe School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at La Trobe University incorporates the disciplines of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics and Civil Engineering & Physical Sciences. We have over 70 academic staff, all of whom have very good reason to be proud of the School's excellent research achievement and its reputation for innovative course design and the maintenance of a supportive student-centred learning environment.We have attempted to design our website in a way which facilitates ease of access to information on our research activities, our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs and our staff. The School has a reputation for extensive collaboration with the international and national research community and with industry and Government. We also have an active engagement with secondary school students through our school liaison program.
