My name is Stephen Cantwell and my career aspirations are to work within International Development for AUS AID or an NGO with an agriculture and rural development focus.
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Agriculture Science/Bachelor of International Development. The course allows me to experience a range of academic fields that contribute to my desired ambitions.
I wanted to become a student ambassador because I wanted to give something back to the university that has given me so much joy, and share my passion for the university with others.
The best advice I can give is to approach everything with an open mind. You may even surprise yourself how La Trobe can enter you into a new academic world. Apart from beautiful surroundings, dedicated lecturers and tutors and great students, La Trobe gives the impression that our education is for the benefit of a fair and just Australia and world.
