Bachelor of Civil Engineering 2008

Studying at La Trobe University in Bendigo has been the best choice for pursuing an engineering career. The most beneficial part of studying at Bendigo would have to be the small class sizes. This enabled easy access to lecturers, a broader range of practical engineering classes, and more site visits than you will ever receive studying at larger universities.

While studying in Bendigo, the broad engineering topics allowed me to choose a field that I really enjoyed, which is Roads and Construction. With many job prospects on offer I decided to join the VicRoads Graduate Program.

The VicRoads Graduate Program allows me to work in various engineering areas, attend engineering workshops, and develop my engineering skills. Currently I'm a development engineer looking into developing three small projects and getting them ready from concept to fully developed and finally for construction stage.

If you’d like to pursue an engineering career, I truly recommend studying at La Trobe University in Bendigo. You will find that studying in Bendigo will be a very rewarding and an enjoyable experience.
