Meet our student
Ms Clare Anderson
Pest Management Officer, Department of Primary Industries
Course of study:
Bachelor of Conservation Biology and Ecology 2007
My core responsibility is to undertake compliance operations in Gippsland and occasionally, the suburbs of Melbourne for pest animal and plant issues. Projects that I am involved in at the moment include the Red-eared Slider Turtle Eradication Project and managing the Serrated Tussock Program in West Gippsland. I also communicate with key stake holders and community members on pest issues. I enjoy the challenge and variability of my job, as well as the opportunities that arise as a consequence of working with DPI.
