Industry-based learning and cadetships

Our courses include practical experience so you can apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to the real world. The Industry Cadetship Program gives you the opportunity to do paid vacation work or spend a year in industry.

Our Industry Based Learning and Industry Supported Scholarship programs are designed to give you practical industry experience and the opportunity to meet the appropriate industry standards where required for professional accreditation or recognition.

Your employer provides training that is relevant to your degree and has a chance to evaluate you as a potential employee. Some students have been offered part-time work and a number of final year placements result in permanent employment.

You will gain greater confidence in communicating with employers, applying for positions and working in your field.
