Agricultural Science Scholarships
Description
The Faculty offers scholarships designed to assist students to commence studies in Agricultural Science at one of our Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo or Bundoora Campuses.
The scholarships (in 2010) are valued at $6,000 each. Applicants must have a home postcode that is not in metropolitan Melbourne (regional postcode) and be studying full-time in first year in one of the following three degrees:
Bachelor of Agricultural Science
Bachelor of Agricultural Science/Bachelor of Business
Bachelor of Agricultural Science/Bachelor of International Development
The scholarship is for the first year of the degree only.
Eligibility
To be eligible students must:
- be an Australian citizen; or a New Zealand citizen; or a permanent resident; or the holder of a permanent humanitarian visa;
- have completed Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in the year preceding commencement in the course;
- not have undertaken any previous study at tertiary level, excluding TAFE and extension studies undertaken as part of a Year 12 program;
- be enrolled in first year as a full-time student in one of the courses listed above, and have a regional postcode.

Selection will be based on academic merit and will take into account:

The Faculty reserves the right not to award any or all of the scholarships available.
