About Human Biology
Biology as an area of study involves unravelling the mysteries of life in all its forms. It includes the study of the structure, functioning, diversity and ecology of cells, organisms, populations and ecosystems in fields such as agriculture, biotechnology, conservation, ecology, horticulture and medical science. The Biological Sciences degree at La Trobe is flexible, allowing specialisation in the major areas of biology (human biology, biochemistry, biology, botany, ecology, genetics, microbiology, zoology, cell and molecular biology, conservation, and biotechnology).
