Research Expertise Flow Analysis and Chemical Sensors
Separation devices (gas diffusion and pervaporation cells) in flow injection systems for analysis of volatile and semi-volatile species in environmental samples, especially those containing suspensions and emulsions.
Research in chemical sensors involves the immobilisation of various reagents in polymeric substrates for use in electrochemical or optical sensors and the testing of these sensors in flow analysis for measurement of pH, metal ions and redox active species in environmental and industrial samples.
