- Ice particle nucleation and growth, long-term trends and interhemispheric differences in cloud properties, mesopheric dynamics, and coupling between various atmospheric regions.
- Polar Mesospheric Clouds and physics of the mesopause region.
- Study of the Earth atmosphere below 100km in relation to stratospheric ozone depletion and climate change.
