Brief profile

 Dr Jackson took up his appointment at La Trobe University in February, 1998. Prior to that he held an appointment at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, Kew as Program Co-Ordinator and Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist of the Acquired Brain Injury Unit (1992 to 1997). Previously, he had worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital , Sydney, as a Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Regional Brain Damage Unit from 1985 to 1992.

Research interests:

- Alcohol related brain injury. - Substance abuse. - Recovery following acquired brain injury and long term outcomes. - Mild head injury. - Cognitive sequelae of emotional disorder. - Ecological validity of neuropsychological tests, learning disabilities.
