Research Interests

  • Biopharmaceutics and clinical pharmacokinetics; bioavailability studies; utilisation of predictive pharmacokinetic analyses in optimisation of patient care; influence of input rate, particularly intravenous infusions on the time course of drugs in the body; optimisation of sampling times for the best determination of pharmacokinetic parameters; Bayesian pharmacokinetics; influence of disease states on pharmacokinetics.
  • Influence of the involvement of pharmacists on patient care; optimisation of patient care through the application of the principles of pharmaceutical care; patient education by pharmacists; role of hospital pharmacists in increasing the productivity and the safe and effective distribution of drugs.
