Brief Profile

Dr Jinli Cao has been active in areas of information systems inculding Query optimization and  data management in Wireless Senor Networks, Distributed Database Systems,   Web Services and Internet Computing. She has published over 70 research papers in refereed international journals and conference proceedings such as IEEE Transactions on Distributed and Parallel Processing, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics (TSMC) etc. 

Dr Cao has been supervising 6 PhD students in various topics including Keywords search in XML databases, uncertain query optimisation, data quality, Web Services, Cloud computing and data management in Wireless Senor Networks.

Dr Cao has been serving continually for professional research communities. She has served a number of International journals, a special issue and Conferences as the reviewer, the editor and the PC member.
