Research interests:

- Molecular beam epitaxial growth of semiconductor materials for near infrared optical communications applications

- Studies of dilute nitride semiconductors for near infrared and photovoltaic applications.

- Dynamical modelling of dislolcation configurations.

- Studies of growth processes and interface formation, particularly the effects of surface segreation.

- The uptake of oxygen and nitrogen by aluminium containing compound semiconductors and its effect on lattice constant and related stoichiometric measurements.
