Students with disability

Students with disabilities, mental health issues or ongoing medical conditions
La Trobe welcomes students with disabilities.
Our Equality and Diversity Centre provides information and support to applicants and students with a disability, and to those with mental health issues or ongoing medical conditions.
If you have a disability, medical condition or other concerns related to studying at university, it’s important to contact the Disability Access staff at the Equality and Diversity Centre before you apply to La Trobe, so we can discuss your support requirements and evaluate your needs. It’s also important to be aware of the physical components and location requirements of all courses to which you apply.
For more information on disability support services, including Deaf academic services, contact the Equality and Diversity Centre (TTY services available).
If you have a disability and you’d like to live on campus at the Melbourne campus, accessible accommodation for students with disabilities is available at two of our colleges:
- Menzies College (03) 9479 1071
- Glenn College (03) 9479 5100
Visit the La Trobe Residential Services website for more information.
