Transfer from another university

If you're studying at another uni and you want to transfer to a La Trobe course, simply apply through VTAC as a Non-Year 12 applicant.

If you're in NSW and applying to a course at La Trobe's Albury-Wodonga or Mildura campuses, you can apply through UAC or VTAC.

The only difference (from applying as a school-leaver) is that you may be asked to complete a Personal information (Pi) form. And if you're offered a place, you can negotiate credit for your previous studies.

Closing dates for applications in 2011

• Timely VTAC applications open on Monday 1 August 2011 and close at 5pm on Friday 30 September.
• Late applications close on Friday 11 November, and very late applications close at 5pm on Friday 9 December. See the VTAC website for more information.

Transfer between La Trobe courses and campuses

If you're already studying at La Trobe and you'd like to transfer to a different La Trobe course you can apply directly via an application for course transfer form.

Please note: Students in La Trobe's Faculty of Health Sciences who want to transfer to another health sciences course within the University (prior to completion of their current course) must submit an application for transfer form. Applications through VTAC for internal transfer within the Faculty of Health Sciences will not be considered.

For La Trobe's Bendigo campus, this includes students at the Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE.
