Kathryn Crotty
Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy
Kathryn knew it was tough getting into Physiotherapy (requiring an ENTER in the mid to high 90s). So when she got her VCE results, Kathryn had a plan. With an ENTER in the mid-80s, she enrolled in nursing, excelled in first year, and then transferred into her dream course.
Kathryn’s top tip
If you have your heart set on a course and you don’t get the ENTER, get advice on your options. I chose Nursing as I was interested in health, and aimed for the GPA I needed in order to transfer.
Our tip
With a new structure for allied health courses at La Trobe, the Bachelor of Health Science is a popular pathways course.
You might start out wanting to be a physiotherapist, but after first year you might change to Podiatry. Talk to us about your options!
