Applying through UAC

If you’re a current NSW HSC student, you can submit an online application for a course at La Trobe’s Albury-Wodonga or Mildura campus through VTAC or UAC.

UAC Guide

You can buy a copy of the UAC Guide from newsagents in NSW, Vic and ACT from mid- to late July.

Check your prerequisites

If you haven't completed Year 12 in Victoria, Australia, you can download the interstate and International Baccalaureate subject guide (PDF 50KB) to check the prerequisites for your chosen course.

Application forms

Are you 21 or over?

If you're 21 or older on 1 January 2013 and haven't completed VCE or equivalent, you may be able to apply to La Trobe through the Mature Age Special Entry Scheme.

As part of your application, you need to complete and submit a UAC Personal Interest (Pi) form (MS Word 32KB).

Are you an Indigenous Australian?

If so, you'll receive special consideration when your application's assessed by La Trobe. Contact the Future Students Centre for an application form.

UAC Pi (Personal information) and Work Experience Form

When you apply to one of our courses through UAC you may need to download and complete a UAC Personal Interest (Pi) form (MS WORD 32KB). Supplementary application form for physiotherapy applicants

Change of Preference

If you’d like to change your preferences to include La Trobe courses, and you’d like advice or information, visit our 'Change of Preference' website or call the Future Students Centre on 1300 135 045.

Direct applications

If you want to apply to La Trobe after the close of UAC preferences, you may still be able to apply through a late direct application, or in mid-year (selected courses only).
