Research centres

The Judith Lumley Centre: a centre of public health research in the fields of planned parenthood and reproductive rights, maternity care and family services in the early years, mother and infant health, breastfeeding, transition to contemporary parenthood, and preventing and reducing violence against women and children.

The Judith Lumley Centre has a particular commitment to working with Indigenous and migrant and refugee communities.

The Australian Institute for Primary Care & Ageing: bringing together five research centres that aim to make a significant, positive and enduring impact on the way health and community care is delivered and accessed in Australia. Through research, consultancy and educational activities, the AIPCA advances knowledge and promotes quality improvement and consumer-driven, evidence-based practice in areas of public health, primary health, community health and aged care.
