Departments

The Department of Education offers both preservice teacher education programs and various specialist as well as general programs across all campuses. In addition to general teacher education programs, we offer specialist graduate programs in Applied Linguistics and TESOL, Education, Educational Leadership and Management as well as Special Education. Our Master's and Doctoral research programs draw students from all over the world to engage in research that makes a difference to the lives of teachers and learners.

The Department of Outdoor and Environmental Education has an international reputation for work in diverse outdoor environments. We offer intense engagement with and experience of the outdoors, including issues associated with the effects of human presence. Our research investigates both natural environments themselves and how humans relate to those environments.
