LIMS Summer Vacation Research Scholarship

Scholarships are available to students to undertake a research project during the summer vacation period in departments associated with the La Trobe Institute of Molecular Science(LIMS).

Scholarships are available in the following departments:

  • Biochemistry (2 scholarships)
  • Genetics (2 scholarships)
  • Chemistry (2 scholarships)
  • Pharmacy (2 scholarships).

Before applying, students should approach potential supervisors to confirm that the supervisor is able to provide a research project for the student in their laboratory.

Salary

$300 per week (tax-free)

Tenure        

Three weeks, full-time

Starting Date

By negotiation with the laboratory supervisor

Selection    

Recipients of summer vacation research scholarships will be selected from applicants who are offered Honours places in the departments associated with LIMS (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Genetics and Pharmacy)
