Goulburn-Murray Water/La Trobe University Scholarship

The Goulburn-Murray Water/La Trobe University Civil Engineering Scholarship Program has been established to provide support for the completion of a tertiary qualification of future professional civil engineering staff. It is available to students undertaking the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) course, or one of the Engineering double degree courses, at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University.

Benefits

  • Financial support in the form of a $5,000 scholarship per year for the duration of the course,
  • Fully-paid vacation work experience during each year of the course ($6000 per year, approximate), and

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Have completed secondary education in Central/Northern Victoria or southern NSW,
  • Be a full-time student in an undergraduate Civil Engineering course at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University,
  • Have a strong academic background, and
  • Not hold any other Civil Engineering scholarship.

The successful applicants will be determined through an application and interview process. The Scholarship is tenable for the normal length of the course, subject to satisfactory academic performance and an annual interview. The successful applicants will be offered a two year position with Goulburn-Murray Water from completion of full-time studies, which will be part of the Graduate Development Program.
