Civil Engineering - City of Greater Bendigo Scholarship
The City of Greater Bendigo/La Trobe University Civil Engineering Scholarship Program has been established to provide support for the completion of a tertiary qualification of future professional civil engineering staff. It is available to full-time students commencing the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) course, or one of the Engineering double degree courses, at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University.
Benefits
- Financial support in the form of a $1,250 scholarship per year for the duration of the recipient's course,
- Fully-paid vacation work experience during years 1, 2 and 3 of the course ($6000 per year, approximate), and
- Access to career mentoring advice from City of Greater Bendigo Civil Engineers
Eligibility, terms and conditions
Applicants must:
- have completed secondary education in Northern Victoria
- be a commencing full-time student in an undergraduate Civil Engineering course at La Trobe's Bendigo campus
- have demonstatred a strong academic background, and
- not hold any other civil engineering scholarship.
A limited number of scholarships is available for commencing first‑degree students. The scholarship is renewable on a yearly basis, subject to satisfactory academic and professional performance.

Application process
- Before applying, confirm that the scholarship you are interested in is open for the applicable year [scholarship entry must indicate "Open for (year)"]
- Complete the Scholarship Application Form [available for download when applications are open]
- Arrange for completion of the reference section by your Principal, Teacher, or Year 12 Coordinator (as appropriate for the type of scholarship)
- Attach a complete list of subject grades to date from Years 11 and 12
- submit completed application form by the closing date indicated on the form.
