Who is Eligible?
The HYG Scheme supports Honours students who demonstrate strong academic achievement in their undergraduate degree, AND financial need. If you are considering Honours at La Trobe in Semester 1 or 2 next year, or if you plan to start or started Honours in Semester 2 this year, and it is a struggle to continue studying you should consider applying for a HYG.

Grants of up to $2000 will be awarded. Payment of a grant will be conditional on the recipient enrolling as an Honours student in the academic year for which the grant is awarded. Information is available in early August each year regarding the following year's grants.

Do not wait for a formal invitation to enrol in Honours or until you have made a final decision. Apply before the closing date.

HYG Applications will close on Friday, 23 January 2009.
