Who is Eligible?
The HYG Scheme supports Honours students who demonstrate strong academic achievement in their undergraduate degree, AND financial need. If you are considering studying Honours at La Trobe University commencing in Semester 1 or 2, 2010, or if you have commenced Honours in Semester 2, 2009, and it is a struggle to continue studying you should consider applying for a HYG.

Grants of up to $2000 will be awarded. Payment of a grant will be conditional on the recipient enrolling as an Honours student in the academic year for which the grant is awarded.

Do not wait for a formal invitation to enrol in Honours or until you have made a final decision.
