IMPORTANT INFORMATION - CHANGES TO COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIP ARRANGEMENTS FROM 2010

The Federal Government has announced that from 1 January, 2010 that the existing Commonwealth Scholarships: Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship (CECS), Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (CAS), National Priority Scholarship (NPS), and National Accommodation Scholarship (NAS) will be replaced by two new Commonwealth Scholarships, which will be administered by Centrelink:

The Federal Government have advised that the Start-Up and Relocation Scholarship will be available to all continuing university students who meet the eligibility criteria set down by Centrelink. As a result of these changes, La Trobe University will no longer be offering any new non-Indigenous Commmonwealth Scholarships.
