Water Polo

La Trobe University Water Polo Club is an active club where we like to have fun and meet people as well as play our wonderful sport. Water polo is a great way to get fit, keep active and be part of a team environment.

Training at the La Trobe Sports Centre pool consists of swimming, ball skills and team plays, with all levels of skill catered for.

We train two nights a week and, if players want to they can compete in the Victorian Water Polo competitions that are held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. We have both a male and a female team entered in these competitions.

La Trobe Students also have the opportunity to compete at the South Challenge and the Australian University Games and this is an experience not to be missed.
Non-students can also join our club and compete.

New members are welcomed throughout the year.

We are a very social club and regularly host exciting events.
