Aikido

Pic: AikidoTraining

Aikido is the exploration of the mind, body and soul. One can train in Aikido as a means of:

  • Self defence
  • Exercise and fitness
  • Raising one’s self control
  • Stress Reduction
  • Meditation
  • Improving one’s mental well being.

Whether you want to be capable in defending yourself, gain a higher level of fitness, or simply gain a mental edge over peers during exams, La Trobe Aikido is willing to help.

La Trobe Aikido is affiliated with Aiki-Kai Australia so a membership at La Trobe means a membership at all Aiki-Kai dojos.

Training is from February until November, on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Squash court 1 in the Sports Centre.

You are welcome to come along and watch, and your first class is free!
