LUMC is more than just scaling alpine peaks, its a club devoted to the enjoyment of the outdoors based on an appreciation of the natural environment and motivated by the desire for exploration, adventure and the "wilderness experience". Outdoor adventure sports, as offered by LUMC provide challenge, excitement and the right environment to discover more about yourself and your fellow members. LUMC also provides the ideal blend of activities for anyone interested in health and fitness and keen to develop an appreciation of our natural heritage. The club is run by students for students with considerable emphasis being placed on passing on knowledge to beginners.

Grampians 26-30th of September (2008)
What else would a LUMCer do on grand final weekend other than get as far away from the CBD and a television set as possible. I can boast that I did not know the result of this years grand final until the Wednesday after the event.
