Table Tennis

The Sports Centre has three table tennis tables which are located in the gallery overlooking the Field House and the group exercise Studio.

The good news is that there is no charge for using these tables. So when you have a spare moment and want a game, just go up to the gallery and see if there is a spare table. When all tables are in use and others are waiting, players are expected to vacate a table after thirty minutes.

If you do not have a table tennis bat or ball, these can be hired from Reception for a modest fee.

Alternatively, you can take part in the Table Tennis Competition as part of the Active on Campus. Challenge other table tennis players to a match and work your way to the top of the challenge ladder!  This free competition allows you to challenge players one to two places above you on the ladder to a match, if you win you move up the ladder.  We will provide participants with the names and detail of all competitors and it’s the responsibility of competitors to organise a game and book facilities at a time convenient to both parties.  Competition is designed to be flexible so that you can play matches around your study and work commitments. Contact details will be kept confidential. All classes and course are open to La Trobe students, staff and the public. So bring your friends and family along!!
