Indoor Sports Centre

The Indoor Sports Centre's facilities are available both to the University community and the general public.

    Outdoor Sports Facilities

    Our on-campus outdoor sports facilities are able to be booked by individuals, groups, schools and Sports Clubs.

    Off Campus Facilities

    Student Services - Sport facilities off campus consist of -

  • a Ski Lodge at Mt Buller ... this may be booked both at 'Member' and 'Guest' rates;
  • a synthetic Hockey Pitch in Reservoir ... which is only available to Hockey Club members; and
  • the Rowing Club's boat sheds, on the Yarra River in Melbourne ... which are only available to Rowing Club members.
  • Booking Policy

    Patrons may book with the Sports Centre Receptionists up to two weeks in advance (from the start time of their booking).

    The Sports Manager, Clubs & Recreation Manager, and the Programs Manager will take bookings outside of this limitation in relation to:

    • Sports Clubs
    • Program activities e.g. Active on Campus classes
    • Schools and other groups
    • Conferences

    Cancellations

    Cancellation of a Squash, Tennis or Field House booking requires 24 hours’ notice.

    • Patrons who DO NOT give 24 hours’ notice will be charged.
    • Patrons who regularly default may be asked to pay in advance or have their bookings refused.
    • Bookings must be paid for prior to use of the facility.


    Memberships ... Passes ... Discount Cards

    The GENERAL PUBLIC and the LA TROBE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY may attend the Sports Centre on a casual basis at either MEMBER, or NON-MEMBER rates.

    How to get MEMBER rates at the Sports Centre
    • Purchasing a SPORTS CENTRE MEMBERSHIP entitles the holder to use the Sports Centre at members rates. See Current Sports Centre Brochure
    • The University Community, which includes former students and staff of the University, have the opportunity to purchase a Guild Membership and receive the associated discounts.


    Passes:

    • A Pass entitles you to unlimited access to a specific facility for the duration of the pass.
    • Passes are only available to SPORTS CENTRE MEMBERS.
    • Passes are available for either 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

    The following passes are available:

    • Pool Pass
    • Gold Pass (Group Exercise + Gym + Pool)  


    Discount Cards:

    A Discount Card entitles you to 12 casual visits to a specified facility for the price of 10 visits.
