Group Exercise ClassesDo you want to try a step, pump, or boxing class? We offer a variety of classes to suite both males and females, with high or low impact options. Descriptions of the classes are included in our "Group exercise timetable" link.
BALANCED BODIES – Relieve stress by balancing your mind and body! A combination of stretching / yoga, core strength, meditation and relaxation BODY BURN – Increase your fitness during this high intensity, calorie burning, cardiovascular workout BODY SHAPE – An excellent class for beginners to advanced! Low impact cardio combined with toning, strengthening and core stability exercises PILATES LEV 1 – Improve flexibility, posture and core strength. Class is based on Joseph Pilates’ well-renowned principles of stretching and stability PUMP – Shape and tone your entire body using barbells and weights TRI-ATHLETIC – Three workouts in one! 15 mins floor aerobics, 15 mins step and 15 mins body conditioning (plus stretch) X-TRAINER – Increase fitness, body strength and endurance. A cross training workout consisting of basic cardio (floor/step) and body sculpt intervals The timetable and class descriptions are also available from the Sports Centre Reception.
