Advice for staff travelling on University business

  • The full ban on travel to Mexico was lifted on 9 June, however DFAT currently advises that you should "Reconsider your need to travel".
  • There are no travel restrictions on other countries at this time (except for pre-existing security restrictions on some destinations) - refer to the Risk Management Office for details.
  • Restrictions on returning travellers from Mexico has been lifted.
  • Students travelling under their own travel insurance policies should check with their insurers to determine the extent of cover during the current disease outbreak.
  • If you have symptoms consistent with an influenza infection you should not come on to University campuses but should remain at home and seek medical advice.
  • If you have been diagnosed with Swine Flu you should notify your supervisor or course/program co-ordinator and do not return to University until cleared by your medical practitioner.
